Breakfast was tasty, with a standard range of choices and freshly brewed coffee. The restaurant could have felt more pleasant with a sea view, though the trees beside it needed trimming. As we were leaving, we saw the maintenance man fixing the lights, and we got the sense that improvements are gradually being made and the rooms may get better in the coming years. We booked an economy room for two in the late afternoon for €63, breakfast included. The staff were helpful and spoke English, and the room was available that afternoon. It had working air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and there was free parking. The furniture was old, cleanliness was below standard, towels were dirty, and there was mold in the bathroom. Noise came through from the hallway and other rooms. The room was functional, but don't expect comfort or high quality. For an overnight stay, especially if you're driving and don't need a shower, it could work. It's a one-star place, but the rooms could still use improvement. Down the stairs from the hotel there's a beach with boats moored there. The bay joins a promenade with steps into the sea and several rocky beaches. We'd suggest walking farther and avoiding a swim right in the bay below the hotel.

The location is outstanding, and the staff are far better than what the hotel itself offers. But the rooms are so low quality that a tent at a campsite might be better. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you really need to.

Staying in rooms from the old socialist era feels priceless in today's fast-moving world. These economy rooms are like a time capsule, with every detail bringing back the retro Yugoslav socialist period. Priceless!

The stairs down to the first beach are a workout, so this may not suit anyone who doesn't like a climb. Some people had to stop on the way back up. There are a few dog-friendly beaches, though, and a lovely path along the shore. The water is crystal clear. We liked the place a lot. The parking area is large, our room had been renovated and was spotless, and the staff were friendly. It's a good spot for a quick stop. Just know there's no elevator, so you'll have to carry luggage up to the second or third floor. Also, skip the coffee from the breakfast machine, it's horrible.
