Grand Hotel Bonavia

I didn't stay at the hotel, but the receptionist let me play the piano in the lobby and helped with whatever I needed. She was so friendly and kind, always smiling. Thanks for such a lovely gesture, your staff are amazing.

The breakfast buffet was great, with plenty of choice, including fresh fruit, vegetables and charcuterie. The rooms are wide and comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious. Staff were helpful and kind, and the location is the best in all Rijeka. Parking right outside is very limited, but the hotel offers a covered spot for 12€ a night, just five minutes away, literally three blocks. The rooms feel old-fashioned in a way that doesn't work for me, with old rugs and wood finishes on the desk, chair and nightstands. If they renovated them, this could easily be the best hotel in Rijeka. Still, highly recommended.

Breakfast was a clear highlight, 10/10 for the range and quality, and the hotel's entrance makes a really luxurious first impression. The location is ideal. My room was comfortable, but it felt dated and could use an update. The bathtub shower was a bit cramped to stand in, especially for someone tall like me at 1.88 m. A pleasant stay, though I'd rate it 3 out of 5 with a few things to improve.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in an excellent spot. My room was spacious and comfortable, but quite outdated, with too few power outlets, especially by the bedside tables.
