It's a lovely, clean place in an excellent location. Just remember it's on the second floor and there's no lift. Noise was the main downside: you can hear and feel every door shutting, and hear people talking in the hallway.

The rooms are lovely. One thing to know: if you add breakfast, the restaurant doesn't start serving until 8 am.

Vladka was a real bright spot during our week in Rijeka. I was stuck in bed with food poisoning, and her kindness brought some much-needed joy. She and the rest of the staff made us feel like family. The hotel was the cleanest we've stayed in on all our travels, and I can't recommend it enough.

We spent four nights here at the end of May, and the location puts you right in the heart of Rijeka, with everything within a five-minute walk. The stylish bar downstairs is theirs too. Our room was fabulous and spotless, and the service was beyond what we expected. We arrived late from Venice on the first night, and the receptionist stayed nearly an hour past her shift to make sure we got in safely. Very professional, and I'd HIGHLY recommend staying here.
