Rogoznica and Primošten are lovely, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The nearby beach is clear and within walking distance, though it’s really for swimmers and full of sea urchins. The pool is a nice alternative. Taking the rubbish up to the hilltop yourself makes for a bit of exercise. The bay view is lovely, and the owners are kind and friendly, though they don’t speak much in the way of languages. The apartment is newly built, but some of the fittings feel cheap: the old fridge is either too warm or noisy enough to keep you awake, the light and dark curtains share one rail, some bathroom fixtures are broken, and there are only two small towels per person. The terrace is pleasant, but rain from the apartment above falls onto it. For the price, I expected more.

We had a great time, and Simona and especially her mum were wonderful hosts who took good care of us. Our apartment was clean, roomy, well equipped, and had everything we needed. From the big terrace, we could look out over the pool, the sea, and the mountains. The view made the holiday memorable. The area is quiet, with the sea just a short walk away. Razanj also works well as a base for trips if you have a car. We went to Krka, which was beautiful but quite crowded, as well as Split, Trogir, and Primosten. We also took a fishing trip by boat from Razanj and went rafting on the Cetina. All were within about an hour's drive. When we wanted to stay nearby, there were a handful of restaurants a short walk away in the village, or we could take the boat taxi to Rogoznica.
