The host was nice, and the city centre is an easy walk away. It's a great base with everything you need for a visit to Rovinj. I'd recommend staying here.

Such a lovely apartment, and I was puzzled by the negative reviews. Our room was spotless, without spiders or cobwebs, and the lady was warm and helpful. For the price, the welcome was hard to beat. The supermarket is a minute away, the centre takes about 10 minutes on foot, and all the beaches are walkable.

This stay made me feel that anyone in Croatia can rent out apartments or run a service business. The lady opened the door without a greeting or any sign of hospitality, and immediately told us not to run the air conditioning overnight or leave it on while we were out. That's how a paid holiday started for us. I wouldn't recommend this for families with children, or for anyone wanting air conditioning or a hot shower in summer when it's 38'. It might suit people who pay and don't even show up.

We ended up staying somewhere else because the owner's behavior left us so disgusted. We hadn't made a reservation, which may have played a part, and we never went inside, so I can't comment on the interior. The price seemed out of line with the location, and the lady quoted us a different amount from the one we'd seen online. Her rudeness really spoiled our mood; I don't understand how someone can behave that way. We later found a much better price a short distance from the beautiful beaches and the city.
