The pergola right outside the entrance gives the terrace plenty of shade for eating, and keeps the apartment comfortable too. With the two windows open for a bit of airflow, we didn't need the air conditioning. The tradeoff is that very little daylight gets inside during the day, though that didn't bother us much since we were usually out. We picked the apartment as a middle ground between the cost and being near the city center, and were happy with that choice.

The kitchen had plenty of useful things, including a moka pot, coffee, dishes, pans and salt. The place is also conveniently positioned, about 15 minutes from both the center and the beaches. On the downside, the French bed is too short if you're tall and can't stretch your legs out. There are lots of mosquitoes around, perhaps because of the humidity from the vines, and they get into the house since there are no screens. Good enough for the price.

The hosts were so friendly and had great tips about things to see and do. The apartment was nicely equipped, and having parking was helpful. It's centrally located, around a 10-minute walk to the city center.
