Nevio is a wonderful host. He lives on the ground floor, answers questions, and offers good tips for beaches, tours and restaurants. He takes care of the house and wants guests to enjoy their holiday. We felt completely at home. The apartment is spacious, fully equipped and a handy base for exploring the area. Having a parking space right at the house is a real luxury in Rovinj, and Nevio’s personal attention made the stay memorable. If you’re after four-star or ultra-modern amenities, this isn’t the place, but for the price it’s hard to beat. We had the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. It’s very spacious, with a huge air-conditioned living/bedroom that can be set up with one double and two single beds, or four singles. The separate bedroom has a double bed, or two singles. Both rooms have their own balcony for sitting or hanging towels, and a clothes rack is provided. It’s well suited to families with children or small, organized groups. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet, away from the bustle, and not suited to partygoers. The apartment has a private parking spot at the house. It’s still only about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town or beautiful Punta Corrente beach. There’s a bakery and ATM around the corner, and larger supermarkets are 400-700 meters away. The kitchen has what you need, including a coffee maker, sandwich toaster, kettle, dishes, and electric and gas hobs. The corner bench is nice for chats or games. We used a bedside lamp on top of the fridge-freezer to give the kitchen table indirect light. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, toilet and two small windows. We also used the shower to hang our towels.
