The hosts were the loveliest, friendliest people, and the apartments were quiet, comfortable and self-contained. Breakfast was a lovely spread, and the coffee was perfect. In the apartment there was a small electric hob, a combo grill and microwave, plus a hood size fridge. It felt like staying with your favourite aunt and uncle. This is a perfect base for exploring istria, with the old town and marina area of Rovinj an easy 10-15 minute walk away, so we could avoid expensive parking in the old town.

The hosts were incredible, and the apartment was roomy and comfortable. I’d happily recommend Villa Nina and would stay there again next time I’m in Rovinj.

We were pleased with the clean apartment, fair value, and owners who were friendly and helpful during our stay. That changed when the final bill added a registration fee and visitor’s tax, which I believe the owner should pay. They also tried to short us by more than 150 euros with what seemed to be a deliberate Euro-to-Kuna exchange mistake. I wouldn’t recommend Apartments Nina.

Everything was well organized, and I could see care had gone into the little details. The hotel was pleasant and spotlessly clean, and the staff were very friendly.

The owner gave us a warm welcome and took plenty of time to explain the area and offer lots of recommendations.
