The quiet area was nice, and we had no problems with the host, but the apartment is around 25-30 minutes on foot from the city center. For the high price, I expected more, especially since better located and better maintained places are available. We booked a place intended for four, but one bedroom was about the size of a bathroom and far too small for two people. It might work for one person or a child. Cleaning had only been done superficially, and the sheets and towels were very worn, clearly used too many times and in need of replacement. There were no proper clothes hangers in the closet, despite what the photos showed. The kitchenware was old and damaged too, and the pan was so worn out that it couldn’t be used for cooking.

The main issue was the cost. For about the same money, we could have stayed in the center, where, from the pictures, the furniture looked even more modern. It took 15-20 minutes to walk to the center, and longer to reach the nicer beaches. The cleanliness also wasn’t what I’d expect at that price. We noticed some spots, and others in our group had more serious issues. The WiFi was very unreliable and sometimes barely worked at all. It wasn’t a big issue for me, but for what we paid, there should be repeaters in the house to give a good signal. The hot water only lasted for the first two minutes of a shower. That didn’t bother me much, but at this price we shouldn’t have to deal with water that doesn’t stay warm.

The accommodation itself was really good, and everything worked fine. But dealing with the landlady was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done in my life. She was bossy, inappropriate, and fairly rude. It would have been a perfect stay if she learned some manners 🤦🤦

We called the day before to reserve, and were told the rooms would be prepared. We confirmed by SMS, WhatsApp, and email, but then our calls were ignored. When we tried to check in, they said they hadn’t seen the messages and gave the room to someone else. Not serious. Fake!
