Apartments Villa Nikola

After four hours of calls and waiting, my travel agency eventually found me a place in central Rovinj, though it was nowhere near the standard advertised at Villa Nikola. As of September 10, nobody from Villa Nikola had called to ask how I'd sorted things out. I strongly discourage booking here. The owners gave me nothing good to say about them. I had paid a Slovenian travel agency in spring, in April if I remember right, for a 10-day holiday in these apartments. I received a voucher and checked a week before leaving that everything was in order. But when I arrived shortly after 3 p.m. on September 5, no one was there to meet me. I called the number on the voucher, and a woman insisted they'd tried to reach me several times and had canceled my booking on August 21 for non-payment. She said all the apartments were occupied, but offered to arrange a more expensive one. I didn't agree to that.
