Boutique Residence Arion

The restaurant was great, and the complimentary breakfast was hard to beat. Everyone at Arion made us feel welcome, and it's a beautiful place, about a 10-15 minute walk from the old town. I'd especially recommend the penthouse suite for families.

Arion is a recently renovated boutique hotel with lovely, clean rooms and a very high standard throughout. It's family owned and run alongside Restaurant IL Faro, where we had excellent meals in a beautiful space with indoor and outdoor seating. We stayed three nights and were met with real kindness and respect. Family and staff greeted us at arrival and throughout the day, from breakfast to lunch and evening. They went out of their way to make our stay in Rovinj as good as possible. The location worked perfectly for us, about a 15-minute walk to the old town. Close enough for an easy stroll, but far enough away from the noise. We wish every hotel were this good!

The breakfast service made this stay especially memorable. The staff kept checking that we were happy and gladly offered homemade desserts. Their warm welcome from our very first day in Croatia made breakfast a real pleasure and got us excited for the rest of the trip. The accommodations were very comfortable too. We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and restaurant, and would highly recommend them.

We loved our four-night stay. The rooms and premises were clean and comfortable, and the staff at both the hotel and restaurant Il Faro were friendly and helpful. The family-run restaurant served delicious pizza and spaghetti carbanero, and we also loved the breakfast coffee. My favorite was the woman at reception who gave us lots of recommendations and information about Ravinj and Rome, our next destination. I think her name was Meska, though I'm not sure of the spelling. She was wonderful and lovely 🥰
