Casa Alice Mini-Hotel

The setting is peaceful, with birdsong and trees all around, and it’s a short walk to the main town. My room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great too, with fresh-baked bread and pastries alongside fruit, ham, yogurt, and plenty of other choices. Each morning they brought me a whole jug of freshly squeezed orange juice. I had a wonderful few days here.

Breakfast was the part we looked forward to most, with fresh local food, lots of choice, and such thoughtful preparation that we kept lingering over it. The hotel is just outside the busy part of Rovinj, so it felt peaceful while still being close to everything. It’s a lovely small family-run boutique place, and the staff were warm and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and full of thoughtful touches. We had a great retreat here and are already thinking about coming back.

Those three days went by too fast. The staff and owner were so polite, thoughtful, friendly, and cheerful, the kind of people who make you feel better just being around them. The rooms are spacious and the area is quiet, and having hotel bikes made it easy to get to the beach or downtown. They bake their own bread for breakfast, and it was some of the best I’ve had. I even got the recipe. A lovely place for a proper rest. Thanks to everyone, and see you soon.

We came to Rovinj on a whim and stumbled across Casa Alice, then stayed as long as we could. The bedside bathtub was a favorite. Our room was clean and spacious, and everyone on staff kept finding ways to make us feel welcome. It’s in a quiet, simple local neighborhood, with really easy parking, and getting into town was convenient. They also let us use bikes and the lovely pool. The laundry service was perfect too.
