Caterina is the best, just super!

Such a lovely welcome from Caterina! The rooms were clean, and the spot is right in the center, close to the Punta Corrente beaches. I was pleasantly surprised.

We felt at home straight away, thanks to Catarina, our warm and lovely hostess. The place was tidy and neat, in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Marina and I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return. Highly recommend, and thanks again, Catarina! Best, Renata & Marina

We spent the rest of our holiday getting around by bike after I got over my worry about hitting someone on my first ride. There are so many people in the center, but the guesthouse has about a dozen bikes, mostly with baskets. They’re old and simple, which worked well for me as a beginner. You can walk to the old town and the beaches fairly easily, though transport is needed to see all of the city and most beaches. There are a few parking spots in the courtyard. We stayed in room #6, a fairly standard-sized room with a double bed, little bedside shelves, nightlights, a table and mirror, kettle, glasses and mugs, TV, air conditioning, a roomy wardrobe, and two chairs. The fridge was on the floor about a meter and a half away. The bathroom is compact but laid out well, so it doesn’t feel cramped. There’s soap in the shower, but bring shampoo. Hot water came with slightly weak pressure, while the cold shower pressure was good. The two-story guesthouse has several cozy rooms and a warm feel. That suits Katerina, the hostess, who’s cheerful and bright, like someone from a good children’s fairy tale. The rooms and house were especially clean, and the towels and linens smelled nice. Breakfast can be arranged for €8 per person. I’m glad my husband found and booked the place, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
