We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful, very clean apartment with a fantastic terrace. The quiet street has little traffic, and we had our own parking space in the courtyard. It's about 500 meters on foot from several lovely beaches and roughly 1000 meters from the town center. Restaurants are an easy walk away, and there's a grocery store just five minutes away. The plants and flowers Melanija and Toni keep are the most beautiful we've seen in the area. They're both lovely, friendly, helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome. We'd love to return to Rovinj. Thank you, dear Melanija and Toni, for such a wonderful time!

Rovinj is a beautiful place with plenty to see, and a paradise for cyclists and hikers. We visited in September, when the beaches could get very crowded. Restaurant staff were always friendly, even when stressed, though visitors should know the island isn't cheap. Our accommodation was quiet and very centrally located, but the beaches were a 30- to 45-minute walk away. Most are natural beaches or part of hotel complexes, and some of those charge an entrance fee.

We had a great stay, and the owners were lovely. The terrace was large and comfortable. Best wishes to them, and good luck winning third place!
