The cottage was lovely and in a great location, but it got very hot at night because we weren't allowed to run the air conditioning after 11 p.m. The co-owner, the father, spoke German but not English. On our second night, at 10 p.m., he came out angry and yelled at us in German, apparently thinking we were partying and playing soccer. We told him in English we were playing UNO, but he didn't understand and got angrier. He apologized, though the apology didn't feel appreciated. It was odd, since the house rules say to keep quiet from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
