Villa Tuttorotto

The harbor views from high on the hillside were wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel was very well kept. Dominic met us after the ferry in a golf cart and brought our luggage to the hotel, and the service throughout was great. Katarina was especially helpful on arrival and each morning at breakfast, and we appreciated the welcome drink. Our room on the fourth floor was well appointed, with air conditioning, a bidet alongside the toilet, and daily maid service. There is a lift, but it only goes to the third floor and they discourage using it because it's slow, so be ready to climb one to four flights of stairs to your room. The one snag came after we rented a car on day two and parked outside the pedestrian zone. There was no transport back to the hotel from the parking area, though I believe they had told us they'd pick us up when we returned from our trip around Istria. Otherwise, the stay was exceptional. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great harbor view, lovely breakfast, and a well-kept hotel, as long as they're prepared for the stairs.

I traveled alone and booked a single room on the top floor, where I had cool breezes and harbor views. The room was good, with a warm, strong shower, and the staff at villa tuttorotto were amazingly attentive and helpful throughout my delightful stay. Breakfast is served on the first floor, with pastries, meat and cheese, plus eggs cooked to order. The hotel has just seven rooms, so it’s easy to meet people over breakfast, and I enjoyed chatting with the host.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful, and the hospitality made our recent three-night stay really enjoyable. Our large, comfortable room had air conditioning and a great harbor view. We had to leave early and would have missed breakfast, so they thoughtfully packed us a lunch. I’d recommend the hotel without reservation. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The hotel's location is hard to beat, and everything was super neat. Breakfast was lovely, including the perfectly made cappuccino. What stood out most was how kind the staff were. From picking us up at the taxi parking lot to answering every question, they kept helping without ever making us feel like a bother. The care felt real, and it went beyond anything I've experienced while traveling around the world. An absolute gem, well done!
