Yellow House Rovinj

The house itself is nice, but the communication was the worst we had on this trip, and I wouldn’t stay here again. The location map didn’t match where the house actually was, so after getting there we spent extra time dragging our bags up and down while trying to find it. There was dirty laundry by the entrance, and the key in the lockbox wouldn’t open the house. We’d told them two days ahead that we’d arrive at 8:30pm, after their check-in office closed at 8pm. They only sent the WhatsApp check-in instructions at 7:35pm, while we were already on a ferry to Rovinj and unsure how we’d get in. The message said they were available for questions until 8pm. They also asked for passport photos and for us to leave the 3.20 euro city tax on the table before leaving, details they could have sent much earlier. I raised the map, laundry, and key problems, but the next day they didn’t acknowledge any of it. We were only there for one night after the ferry from Venice, and they made us feel like our booking didn’t matter at all.
