House Ana

The garden and hot tub made for lovely, relaxing evenings. The house was as described, with clean, attractive furnishings and a kitchen stocked with all the useful basics, including spices, coffee filters, and dishwasher tablets. The owners were accommodating and very friendly; they could be reached on WhatsApp anytime with questions. Two older ladies live on the property and were always kind and polite, and the two dogs were happy to be petted.

We were very satisfied with our 10 days at Ana holiday home. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the surroundings were pleasantly quiet. Many great places are within a half-hour drive. The owner, Mladen, speaks good German and was flexible and easy to reach by mobile. He let us check in early and leave a day earlier in the late afternoon. The garden isn't right outside the house: you walk about 2 meters around the corner from the front door, so we were glad we brought a basket for carrying dishes and food, since there was no tray. Our main disappointment was the pool, which gets no sun, stays very cold, and went unused. If you prefer a soft, cozy pillow, bring your own.

The jacuzzi was fantastic, and the neighbors were friendly; the dogs were always happy to be petted. We felt very comfortable in the holiday home. It was tidy and very clean, with nothing missing.

The interior was okay, but the place wasn't clean enough and we had to do quite a bit of cleaning ourselves. This didn't feel like a vacation. The listing never mentioned a farm right on the property, and the barking dog outside around the clock or the rooster by 6 a.m. kept waking us. Across the street, the women watched us closely. The flowers were very dry, so we turned on the garden hose once to water them as a friendly gesture. Within five minutes, one woman had called the landlord to complain. He said we couldn't do that because of a water shortage, yet those same women watered their own flowers later that evening. She even walked into our garden as if it belonged to her. And as for the booking agency, we'd rather not say more. Never again Interhome. I've never dealt with people so unfriendly and incompetent.
