Zaglav is a quiet, sleepy spot with no major sights, so it suits anyone looking for a peaceful holiday rather than nightlife. Since it’s in the middle of the island, Sali and its livelier feel are only a few minutes away, as is the beautiful national park. Tourism still seems limited here. The harbor stays busy because of the boat fuel station and the passenger ferry to Zadar, which runs several times a day. Locals are generally friendly, though a little reserved with tourists. Martina's Restaurant serves good food, and there’s a mini-market nearby for the essentials. Most homes are reached by a fairly steep uphill walk, which can be tiring in the sun.
