Apartments Calma

We spent ten days here in a nice, modern apartment. The owner and family were kind and helpful, and he replied quickly whenever we had a question. We were lucky to be the only family for the first few days, so we enjoyed the peaceful evenings, the views, and the pool. I added some photos of the apartment exterior and pool. During the day, it was also lovely to watch birds skimming the water to cool off. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the taxi boat for Trogir, where you can join bus or boat tours to places nearby, such as Split, Krka waterfalls, and Bol. The owner offered airport transport both ways. Since public transport by boat was so close, we didn’t need to rent a car, which costs a lot these days.

We’re still here, and so far it’s been good. It’s a friendly, family-run place, clean and quiet, with only four or so apartments. Lovely views, and close to a pebbly beach.

The price is far too high for what you get. It feels like they care about your money, not about you. At first everything looks nice, but the details tell another story. The staff were rude and disrespectful.

Watch out if you park in the dirt lot behind the hotel, under the apartments. If you’re not a guest, you’ll get a €40 fine. There’s no information about the parking rules, and the police threaten to call you. Be careful.
