That black-haired waitress made us feel welcome from the start. She was kind, professional, attentive, and her smile and positive attitude really made the visit special. We left convinced she’s the best waitress there, no question. We’ll come back for her. If she isn’t working, we probably won’t return. She’s the reason we came away with such a great impression of the place 🤗😄✨

A nice little two-room apartment by the water. The first one we were given hadn’t been cleaned properly, with dog hair on the sofa and floor. We were moved to another, which was better, though the cleaning still could have been better.

There were bedbugs all over the shower and in the bed. The furniture is fine, but the rooms are dirty and there are spiderwebs everywhere. The service is nice, and so is the food.

The private sandy beach is a standout, and there’s plenty of room for children to play and for sunbathing, as well as lots of parking. Trogir is only a few miles away and has excellent dining. Apartments Medena has an interesting past: it was once a top-notch pioneer camp, then became resort-style apartments after the socialist era ended. Staff are welcoming and courteous. The rooms have been renovated recently, are clean, and most have lovely sea views. In some, you can hear the waves. It’s also good value for money, with a reasonable price for the location and amenities.
