Residence Villa Irena Apartments

We had a fantastic week in apartment 2, with a twin room, a double room, and a full kitchen including an oven. We booked through the website directly, not booking.com. The whole villa was immaculate, and Irena and her family were welcoming, friendly, and available to help when needed. The balcony was spacious, with a stunning view: Trogir and the mountains behind Split in the distance to one side, and the sparkling Adriatic ahead. The pool was a great size, and my children, aged 16 and 11, used it every day. The villa's own path down to the beach is steep, but gives easy access to the coastal walking path. There was lots of room on the beach and plenty of places to swim, with a relaxed, uncrowded feel. Walking along the path toward Trogir, we found quieter restaurants and Bar Olivia, with delicious ice creams and cocktails. In the other direction, Hotel Modena was busier, with pancake stalls, a bar, a few fun rides like the "crazy sofa," paddle boards, and an aqua park. You could also book tours and boat trips there. We walked into Trogir from the villa in about 40 minutes, then took an Uber or Bolt back. A wonderful holiday.

The owners live onsite and were easy to find whenever we had a question. They were happy to help, and take great care of the property, which was spotless. The pool was a family favorite, too. Apartment #2 had enough room for two adults and three children, with one child on the pull-out couch. The balcony was a great extra, and its awning meant we could sit outside even in bright sunshine. The beach is a quick walk down the hill, with some local restaurants and water activities nearby. Split and Trogir are both beautiful and easy to get to from here. We had a great week at villa Irena and hope to return.

From booking until we got home, Mark was always helpful. His parents, the husband and wife who live onsite, were incredibly kind and accommodating. They checked that things were okay in the apartment and pool, and even let us try fresh dates from the trees. We were so grateful. The pool was immaculately clean, with wonderful views, and the facilities suited our family of four, two adults and two older teenagers. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, though the path is steep. The village has a good range of restaurants, reasonable prices, and plenty of choice. We ate out most nights and enjoyed walking off all that lovely food. The balcony views were wonderful, just right for unwinding after a busy day. The air conditioning and WiFi worked well. I'd recommend bringing a Fire Stick. We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Irena and would certainly return. Many thanks from the Williams family. Diolch x

There are plenty of restaurants nearby serving tasty Croatian specialties, and the beach isn't far away. We found the location good for a relaxing stay, with a nice pool and a spacious apartment that had a beautiful view. Villa Irena gives you a real Adriatic atmosphere. I recommend staying here.
