Rina Vacation home

The house had a lot going for it: a great location, lovely views from every window, a garage, and everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes. It was clean, and we found complimentary wine, Coca-Cola, and crackers when we arrived. We were also allowed a late check-out. The beach is uphill from the house, which wasn't always convenient. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage the whole time, and one room had no air conditioning. We had to move the many fragile decorations out of reach because we were traveling with small children. The host was the main reason we nearly gave a lower rating. He came over several times and rudely yelled at our friends for visiting us; they were staying in the house next door. He wasn't welcoming, and it badly affected my impression of Croatia. Our friends' hostess, by comparison, was very kind, baked them pies, and drove them to the airport. I'd only suggest staying here if you're not coming with a group and don't plan to get together. The house rules also say the host may enter at any time without notice.

We had the place to ourselves, which mattered a lot to us. It's close to Trogir, a beautiful but expensive town, and there was no traffic right nearby, so it felt peaceful. The view was lovely, and we could park in the garage instead of leaving the car in the hot sun. The nearest beach is around 800-900 meters away. A bakery, general store, and ATM are about 600 meters from the accommodation, and the larger shopping malls are easy to reach too. Inside, the modern rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were very well equipped, with two toilets. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. The hosts were attentive and kind. They welcomed us with drinks and snacks after our long journey, and did their best to make sure a local power outage didn't cause us problems. I can't think of much I disliked. Better Wi-Fi coverage and internet would have been nice, though it wasn't terrible.

The owners were really friendly, and the holiday home is beautiful with modern furnishings. I'd highly recommend it!
