Club Vala

A great place, and very clean.

Clean, with a higher standard.

We were the only Italians there, among guests from Croatia, Germany, and Slovenia. The property sits within a small campsite, very close to the beaches. The apartments were modern, clean, and equipped with every comfort.

The place is difficult to locate: there are no signs for the "Vala" camp in town, so you need to follow the signs for "Slana Bay". The apartments, about 15 of them in an apartment-hotel, are in the middle of the camp. Once there, we found a new, very clean apartment close to the sea, with a small shop, cafe, and restaurant nearby. It had separate rooms, enough space for 4 people, and a kitchen with plenty of small appliances. There were a number of drawbacks. The pebble beach is tiny and always crowded, while the concrete beach goes straight into deep water. Storage lockers in the apartment were scarce, the TV channel selection was a bit odd, and the fridge was too small. The hood didn't work for us, the kitchen itself was quite small, and the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. We didn't have an iron either. The parking lot is high up and not easy to reach.
