Hotel & Pavillons Slaven

The noise from the Vibe club next door ruined our hotel stay. Their music went on all night, and there were fireworks right outside our balcony. It turned the whole holiday into a nightmare.

There’s no fridge or drinking water at the hotel, and parking costs extra. I didn’t think this was a good hotel.

Dinner was so bad we went elsewhere to eat. We arrived at 7:10, just ten minutes after dinner started, and much of the food was already gone. There was hardly any choice, the tables were dirty, and the restaurant had a strange smell. The food was worse than hospital food, in my opinion. When we first complained about being put in a pavilion instead of the hotel room we had booked, they moved us to a filthy room that looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The next pavilion room was completely new apart from the bathroom, so we accepted it. The way staff spoke to us and insisted there was no other option was unacceptable. Once I asked for the hotel boss, though, they managed to arrange another room. I really don’t recommend this hotel. Please stay away.

Breakfast was surprisingly excellent, no complaints there. The hotel’s location is good too, though the annex pavilions are farther away. My room was old and seemed never to have been refurbished, with a broken shower door and a spiderweb on the wall. I’d booked an extra bed, but it hadn’t been set up. The receptionist was extremely slow.
