Dragana is so nice, and her husband Ivan is a master craftsman. The log cabin he built is outstanding. Great location and an awesome hot tub. It’ll be hard to leave tomorrow, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area.

There’s room to park three cars easily, and all three bedrooms have their own bathroom. The jacuzzi is splendid. Out back, there’s a BBQ and a generous sitting area, plus a ping-pong table, Netflix, and a cat. It’s close to a supermarket and restaurants, and a 10 minute drive from the Park. One of the best logs I’ve ever stayed in. The host is welcoming, communicative, and attentive to your needs.

We’ve stayed in many places, and this is one of our favorites. It’s an amazing holiday home we’d happily book again, and we’d definitely return to this area. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, for your kindness, the family and neighbours’ kindness too, and for the lovely baking and chocolate. You both and Croatia are top. You deserve nothing less than a 10. The warm welcome included tuna sandwiches, Croatian drinks, sweets, and fresh fruit, and the owners gave us loads of tips about the area. Outside is stunning, with a big jacuzzi, BBQ area, table tennis, and a terrace with an unbeatable view. There are lots of fruit trees in the garden, you can walk to the korana River, and Plitvice is nearby. Restaurants and grocery stores are close, and if you ask for something, they’ll arrange it. We would have liked more privacy because the upstairs bathroom windows have no curtains, even though the cottage is isolated. There’s also not much storage space for groceries in the kitchen.

Dragana’s warm, giving personality made us feel at home. She even sent us off with some Franch coffee, a popular brand in Croatia that my husband had grown very fond of. We’d definitely return and recommend this place to others. My husband and I came from NYC for our first trip to Croatia, and spent four nights in October in Ivan’s gorgeous handmade cabin. It’s perfectly placed for exploring Plitvice, just five minutes from either entrance. The views are gorgeous, and the hot tub felt divine after a day of hiking. We also used the outdoor grill to make peka, a traditional Croatian dish. A small grocery store is an easy walk along a charming little road among neighboring stone houses. The welcome treats were lovely: brandy, open-faced sandwiches, fresh apples, and walnuts from the property’s trees. The house was impeccably clean and fully equipped, with a washing machine, bathrobes and slippers, smart TV with Netflix, and a kitchen with pots, pans, toaster, and coffee maker. Wi-Fi was fast throughout, even outside.
