Hotel Degenija

Everything we needed was at a reasonable price, and Plitvice National Park was less than a five-minute drive away. We ate at Degenija Restaurant, where the dishes were tasty. Plum Bistro was open during high season, and we enjoyed its delicious food too.

We stayed three nights, with the hotel about an eight-minute drive from Gate 1 of Plitvice National Park. The pool had lovely views, and our apartment and the shared areas were furnished to a high standard. Check-in came with local plum brandy, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and friendly. We ate at the busy restaurant next door, which was good value, so booking is a good idea. The extension under construction looks like it will be impressive when finished. On our second night we chose a local restaurant, and the nearby supermarkets, a five-minute walk away, were well stocked. We had a great stay.

The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the quiet location made it easy to relax while still being near Plitvice. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. I felt good throughout my stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and warm hospitality.

Degenija Restoran served great food at very reasonable prices, and the staff were polite and professional. My room was spacious and spotless, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location was exceptional. I'd give this place ten stars if I could. I'll be back smiling. Keep up the good work!
