Quiet and scenic, with a spacious, clean, well-equipped place to stay around 7 km from Gate no. 1 of Plitvice Lakes National Park. It felt like good value for the money. You'll need a car to get here, though I think the owners can arrange rides to and from the nearest bus stop for guests without one.
The pool was a great way to unwind after a full day walking through Plitvice National Park. We stayed four nights, four of us in a roomy apartment with two bedrooms. The owners were very friendly and greeted us with homemade cake. The property is just off the main road. A small market is 1.2 km away, and there are some restaurants and larger markets nearby if you have a bike or car.
This is a family run place, and everyone was friendly and keen to help. The garden's large barbecue and generous facilities were a real plus. The pool was fine, although it had a little too much chlorine, and the facilities felt somewhat outdated but still did the job.
Otherwise, this would have been four stars. They seem a bit too fond of running the very noisy tractor, lawn mower, and brush cutter, especially right beside the swimming pool.
A cozy, very nice house with kind hosts and pets. The garden is lovely too, with a barbecue and a pool.
