Lily is really what made the difference for us. She was so welcoming and hospitable, and it felt like home, especially since we were the only guests in the property’s 5/6 rooms. She’s very communicative, maybe a bit talkative, and speaks English and German really well. Our room was clean and tidy, with a TV, a small safe, its own fridge, a cute little ledge or table, and a small wardrobe. The shower and toilet both worked well, which matters. Towels were included, but they were old and pretty worn, so they felt hard and rough. That’s why I gave four stars. The kitchen had enough appliances for simple things like boiling or frying. There’s also an outdoor area with benches and tables. The kids’ swing looked old and faulty, so be careful. We had a nice stay, though it was only one night. We’d recommend the property.

The place is peaceful and relaxing, and getting to the lakes is convenient. Having breakfast out on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. Lily welcomed us by saying we should feel at home, and we really did. She took such good care of us that I wish we’d had more time to stay.

We booked three rooms for a rest after visiting Plitvice Lakes, which are close by. The host was so kind, gentle, and helpful that leaving after just one night made us sad. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a private bathroom in each, and the small balconies are a nice touch for relaxing and watching the sunset. There’s an international breakfast on offer, though we didn’t try it. If I come back to Plitvice Lakes, I’ll definitely book here again.

We’d accidentally booked the wrong day at another B&B, but luckily Lily at Plitvice rooms had a room free and kindly let us stay for an excellent price. It was a lovely en-suite room with a great view and terrace, and the lakes are close by. The host and room were wonderful, I can’t recommend them enough. If you get the chance, book it. Five stars all the way!

Lilly is a lovely and helpful host, and the village is very quiet. It’s small, but the shops, restaurants, and National Park are nearby, so it’s well worth staying here.
