Zlato - With Pool - SA5 Maslina

The apartment was clean and had what we needed, though the furniture was older. It’s close to the center, which was about the only upside for us. Getting there involves a very steep climb, and the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. Children didn’t seem very welcome: they weren’t allowed to be noisy, jump in the pool, or even splash around. The landlord was around a lot, picking up leaves and other things, and only he could use the barbecue, even if you brought your own. I’d say this place suits older couples better. We had to leave after just two days because of illness.

We had a wonderful time, with the pool right outside the apartment. It made a great base for exploring the Senj area. The apartment was pleasant to stay in, and the host was friendly and always happy to help, whether we needed a whisk or a restaurant suggestion.

Everything we needed was in this very nice apartment, and there’s covered parking. The pool was spotless, the sea view was great, and Zlatko was very kind. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

So many good memories of this bar! It’s been one of my favorite places for 50 years, and I feel especially attached to it. Such lovely people!!!
