Apartment Barone

The booking photos showed the larger apartment with a kitchen, which made it confusing since we rented the small one without a kitchen and there weren’t any photos of it. More transparency would have helped. Check-out at 10 a.m. also felt much too early, especially since even hotels can be more flexible. Inside, a few small fixes are needed: the curtains don’t close properly, the toilet paper holder is loose, and the toilet seat sits crooked. The apartment is nicely decorated and has a lovely typical stone wall. The street looks better in the booking pictures than it does in person, with a run-down feel and a deserted building right opposite, though we accepted that as part of its authenticity. We were happy with the apartment overall, and I hope these comments help the owner make the small improvements needed for a five-star experience.
