Fenice Palace

If you’re after a quiet, romantic place close to everything and don’t need a full-service hotel, this is hard to beat in Sibenik. The room was one of the most attractive I’ve stayed in, even compared with the Boca and Breakers. Our host was helpful and gave us great ideas for the trip.

Josip made the stay especially good. He was warmhearted, helpful, and offered sublime service. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re furnished just right and have lovely bathrooms, and the location is unbeatable. Sibenik itself is a lovely city, so when you visit, try to get a room at Fenice Palace. You won’t regret it.

There are only a few rooms in this lovely little hotel, tucked into a quiet part of the old town. Our junior suite was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there’s a great gelato shop just around the corner.

The rooms were clean and splendid, and the owners were friendly and very helpful. Parking isn’t included, but they helped us find an affordable spot nearby. We stopped there to load and unload our bags, then moved the car farther away to pay less. Since Sibenik isn’t very big, walking back to the car was easy. The WiFi signal was so weak it was practically unusable, though I didn’t really need it.
