I liked staying at Splendido so much that I kept extending my visit. The bus station is just a two-minute walk away, and the old town is five minutes on foot. The host and her son are so lovely and accommodating. They work incredibly hard to make sure guests are comfortable. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

The location was great, within walking distance of the bus station, beach, restaurants, and bars. I showed up needing a bed and was happy to pay for a private room. The receptionist/owner was an absolute angel, and it still cost less than a hotel. A bed in an eight-bed dorm was under 30 euros a night, while a private room was 60 euros. Great experience!

The host was lovely, and a private room was only 80€ a night. The air conditioning worked really well, the showers were good, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It looked just like the pictures too. The beach is about a 20-25 minute walk away. Would recommend.

Hostel Splendido was a lovely place to stay. The owner and her family, who help out, were all really friendly. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s well placed, very close to the old town and a 15-minute walk from the city beach. I’d definitely stay again!

The family who run the hostel live on the top floor, and you can tell they care about the place and their guests. There are two shared terraces, one on each of different floors, and each room has air conditioning and a private terrace. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean with toilet paper always available. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed reasonably well equipped. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from both the main bus station and the city centre.
