The garden is pleasant, and the location is handy: close to the center but a little out of the way, so it’s easy to relax during the Šilo festivals. The shower basin with its curtain was very uncomfortable. There was no washing machine or kitchen countertop, and the cash deposit was 50 euros.

The apartment itself was fine, and the owners were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 3-star apartment and were a little surprised that it didn’t include a washing machine. You also need to bring your own toilet paper and soap.

We left feeling angry and uncomfortable, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The owners shouted at us on the last day, calling us scumbags and saying they never wanted to see us again. Earlier, they had repeatedly scolded us over a mess outside: sea-damp clothes blew off the rack in strong wind, and we hadn't cleared the dishes immediately after dinner. We tidied everything, but the owner later confronted me about it again in town. After that we carried wet laundry into the cramped apartment to avoid another reprimand. On day three the dishwasher stopped working. They wanted to take the service cost from the €50 deposit they'd set on our first day, but in the end charged us for repairing the broken air conditioning instead. We hadn't caused either problem. The owner acknowledged the dishwasher was seven years old, then seemed to forget that. She also didn't give me any compensation for its failure. The air conditioning only cools the living room, not the bedroom, and you can barely fit one pacifier in the space where it supposedly broke. I was told the owner had been very unstable lately; staff at the Croatian tourist agency where we tried to resolve things said they'd had recent problems with them too. The terrace photos are misleading because it's tiny in person. There are no window screens, and the furnishings are all the cheapest IKEA equipment. By then, though, I didn't care anymore. Think carefully before booking.

The beach is very close, and there are restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment itself was fantastic and had everything we needed. We'll come back next year.
