We had a rough week. My wife and baby got sick, and the host was upset that we were at the residence throughout the week. It felt like a huge invasion of privacy to have our presence tracked. There was an eight-hour water outage and an eight-hour electricity outage, with no warning beforehand. On the last night the bed broke, so I had to sleep on the couch. The stairs creak a lot, and using the upstairs bedroom seemed likely to upset the host. Having a sick family made an already difficult week worse with a host I found inconsiderate and nosy.

A great place to stay, with plenty of room for five people. The host was friendly and brought us washing powder when we said we wanted to do laundry.

Ana and the hosts made us feel welcome with local ham, cheese, and lots of useful advice about the area. They were happy to answer anything we asked, and Ana even did our laundry since there’s no laundrette in Sinj. We stayed in June 2018 and loved the apartment and its beautiful surroundings. Thank you for everything. We had such a good time and miss you. Johan, Marlene and Suzette, South Africa.

There’s loads of space, and the kindness from the hosts was something else. The only drawback was the heat in the top room during summer. Still, we had an amazing stay.

Quiet and pleasant, with a nice kitchen that opens onto the living room and a small terrace.
