Nearly the worst place I’ve been. We had the details printed in an email, but they wouldn’t honor them, and they misled us about both the price and when we had to leave. Customer service from the clerk and the owner was the worst. I’d never return and would tell others to avoid it.

We stopped here for one night with three people while driving to Hesse on our holiday toward the Croatian coast, hoping to take a break and rest. I can’t recommend this apartment. You have to get the keys from the restaurant, then hunt around for the entrance. The stairwell is narrow, the whole floor creaks, and everything is uneven. The apartment door was so hard to open that we had to push it because of the uneven floor. There was a bad smell, and mold on the living room walls. Inside, there’s a kitchen and sitting area with a TV, but the TV was broken. The sofa in the corner was dirty, and the toilet seat was broken and crooked. There’s a toilet with a shower. The bedrooms are a step higher, reached by a spiral staircase so narrow your feet get stuck. Upstairs there’s a room with a single bed, a broken wardrobe, and no electrical outlet. The other room has two beds but no door. A catastrophe, and it stinks.

I paid for the room and agreed with the woman that it would be unlocked, with the key left inside for my arrival. When I got there at 5 a.m., it was locked and someone was sleeping in the room. Then I had to keep fighting with her over the next few days to get my money back. A complete disaster, avoid it at all costs!
