We always love renting a room or apartment from Mrs. Erceg for our holidays. We're a couple with two small children and feel completely at home there. Mrs. Erceg has a lovely little tortoise farm in the garden, full of adorable tortoises. The Green River, shops, and Krka National Park waterfalls are all reachable on foot, about a five-minute walk away. There's also a playground and soccer field nearby for the kids. You can get to swimming spots in several directions, either walking or by car. We're already looking forward to coming back next year ❤️🌅

It's affordable and family run. The owner welcomed us with a beer, and we got a warm goodbye when we left. The bathroom was new, though tiny, and the bed and other furniture were old-fashioned but worked fine. The main annoyance was that the bathroom was so cramped I had to open the door just to use the sink. Also, someone knocked late in the evening to collect payment. That could've been handled earlier or the next morning. I guess the elderly lady worried we'd leave early without paying.
