Our vacation could carry on, and we could keep travelling through the Balkans, thanks to the owner's help. When our car's brakes gave us trouble, he went out of his way to assist. He contacted a mechanic he trusted, who came to our apartment on Sunday evening and began the repair Monday morning. He was kind, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout. The price was reasonable for this area too. Thank you so much for everything 💚 I highly recommend this place 👍

The rental price is the clear upside. The listing photos give a somewhat misleading impression: it's actually a tiny ground-floor studio in a house, or more precisely a semi-detached home where a large family across several generations lives. I'd only treat it as somewhere to sleep and a base for exploring southern Croatia.

The apartment was okay, but the view was only decent after we trimmed the plants ourselves. The metal-frame double bed was awful, with worn-out mattresses, so we spent all three weeks sleeping on the floor. We asked the landlord to sort it out, but he never came by or did anything. The booking platform was no help either. I'd avoid this place.

The balcony view is the highlight, looking out over the bay to the mountains. The town is small and the beach is close. It's not a five-star hotel, but it does have everything you need.
