Olive Hill House

That incredible view really topped off our stay 🥰. The stylish furnishings, spotless rooms, and great facilities all made it feel special. We loved unwinding by the pool and jacuzzi. Thanks for everything 🙏, we're already thinking about coming back 😉!

The apartment and grounds really do look just like the photos. Everything was well equipped and maintained, the pool area was cleaned each morning, and our apartment was spotless when we arrived. It felt like a little paradise at first, and we enjoyed it enough to ask about staying longer. We had booked September 27 to October 3, and knew the apartment was booked again after that. Still, we checked with Niki in case plans changed or someone cancelled. We asked if we could stay through Saturday, October 4, and were told yes, even until Sunday the 11th. The date didn't fit, so we assumed it was a typo. On Friday morning, October 3, we decided to extend through Sunday and I messaged Niki to confirm. She then said she'd mixed up the dates and told us to pack and leave. It was about 9:30 am, with the usual checkout at 10. After some back and forth, we were given 90 minutes because we said we needed until noon. We'd only just got up and sat down to breakfast, so we had to eat, shower, and pack in that time. What upset us most was how the key handover went. Niki put the blame on us, saying we knew the apartment was booked again from the 3rd and should have realized the dates she'd given were wrong. I didn't point out that we believed we had a binding agreement and had already paid for the extra night, because I didn't want the next guests to begin their holiday with a bad experience. The money wasn't offered back; I had to ask for it. Mistakes happen, but there wasn't what felt like a sincere apology or even a small gesture to make things right. That, along with the abrupt checkout, spoiled what had otherwise been a good stay.

We found Olive Hill House a lovely, relaxing place to stay. The apartment was luxurious and had everything we needed, with a beautiful setting and shops and restaurants easy to reach. Niki was very helpful too. I'd happily recommend it to anyone after a restful break.

We loved the views and the amenities, and the walk into Slatine was short, with more beaches, restaurants, and bakeries along the way. The apartment was modern and spotless, and the whole place felt meticulously cared for. Whoever handles the cleaning is clearly a pro. It really is an oasis for relaxing. Highly, highly recommend.
