We had a Booking reservation, but when we arrived around 21:00, the receptionist and owner refused to let us stay because we had dogs. She was extremely rude from the start. The listing had pets allowed selected, but she told us, 'we won't let you stay here with your dogs, people are eating here.' When I showed her the page, she said I should have told them we had big dogs. Mine are medium-sized, and there was no note saying we had to provide their size. They turned me, my husband, our two kids and our two dogs away at that late hour!

It has a nice, quiet feel, while being just a block from plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The hostel sits by the Sava River and has a good location, clean rooms, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. It really feels like a good hotel. This was my second visit, and I'd stay again.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we had a wonderful time at Hostel Levicki. It's right in the heart of Slavonski Brod, with genuinely excellent hospitality. I highly recommend staying here!
