Hotel Zovko is right by the highway, so it functions more like a motel. There’s not much around apart from a gas station. It’s open 24 hours, and the receptionist is a very gentle guy who speaks German. The rooms were VERY VERY DIRTY. You can see dust particles in the air when you go to bed, and the carpet is extremely dirty. It doesn’t feel like a decent place to rest. The price is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, it’s criminal. In summer they charge a lot, even though the average price for a clean hotel of much higher quality is HALF of that. People want to sleep on the road and there’s nothing else in the area, so they’ll gladly take your money. Breakfast is included, and you can’t rent a room without paying for it. After seeing the rooms, the last thing we wanted was to try the food. Rooms, 0/5. Price, 0/5. Service, 3/5. A tent is a better place to sleep for the price, really.

The rooms are nice, but the sheet wasn’t clean and there was someone else’s hair on the bed. Definitely not worth 4 stars.

It worked fine for a stopover. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean, though the decor was quite dated and breakfast was a bit disappointing.

It’s 5km from the city, so it’s calm and quiet. Continental breakfast is provided, but there’s no lunch or dinner.
