Apartment Bastaja

Maria was so kind and helpful when we arrived with our baby. She helped us sort out what we needed and made us feel at home. Her lovely home has clearly had a lot of care and thought put into it. It was very clean and felt very safe, with everything we wanted in self-catering accommodation. We’d gladly return and recommend it.

The hosts were very friendly, and the price was reasonable. Air conditioning kept the place pleasantly cool, and there was a great parking spot for our car and small luggage wagon. It’s within walking distance of the river for sightseeing and swimming, and works well for a trip to Plitvice Lakes or some kayaking nearby.

Rastoke is right nearby, with waterfalls all around and some great restaurants, and the beautiful Plitvice Lakes are only a short drive away. The apartment is in a quiet spot on a dead-end street, clean, comfortable, and a good size for the four of us, with a nice layout. We enjoyed winding down on the balcony with a glass of wine made from the vines on site, talking over the day's adventures. The host was thoughtful and attentive. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hostess Mariana was warm, welcoming, and very pleasant. She left us delicious wine and cake, and even helped us with clean laundry. We were a family of six, a couple with four children, and found the stay very comfortable. The place was clean, quiet, and wonderful, with Plitvice Lakes and Rastok close by for hiking. Highly recommend!
