We were sorry to have only one night here. Water runs beneath the house, cooling it naturally, and the views from indoors and outside are stunning. The place feels almost magical. The younger owner spoke very good English and helped with everything we wanted. We’d definitely recommend it.

The river walks are lovely, and the village is such a pretty place. We stopped for one night on the way to Plitvice Lakes, though the house would be great for a few days too. There are a couple of places to eat a short walk away, with more options in nearby Slunj. It’s a pleasant alternative to staying at Plitvice, about a 30-minute drive from there. Everyone was so nice.

A great villa close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Taxi transfers are available to Split, Zadar, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Novalja, Tisno, Biograd na moru, Vodice, Pula, Venice, Makarska, and Omiš.

The house sits right above a waterfall, which is just beautiful. It’s also in the best spot in town, right in the center, with restaurants close by, and it’s well equipped.
