The falls were so loud that I didn’t sleep, but I wasn’t even a little mad about it. The owner had been sitting outside smoking and asked if we had somewhere to stay. We didn’t, and when she quoted about $25/night for a room literally over a waterfall, we were shocked. The accommodations were great, and she even served us coffee and slivo (brandy) for breakfast. Staying here is guaranteed to be memorable.

The host was nice and the place was clean, but the heating didn’t work well and we were really cold. It’s a 10-15 minute uphill walk, so the location wasn’t as good as the places by the waterfalls.

We only stayed one night, but the service was excellent. They were very friendly and gave us all the information we might need. It’s close to central Slunj, just two minutes from the Rastoke Bridge, and the location is great. It was completely quiet, so we had a restful night.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the place was peaceful. It’s a little off the beaten track, yet still close to the center and Rastoke. A very good spot to stop on the way to Plitvice and the Riviera.
