Our flight was delayed by 2.5h, so we missed the rental car. It was 11pm when the apartment owner came all the way to the airport to pick us up, free of charge! She had made pancakes for us and left them in the apartment, thinking we might be hungry after the long trip. In the morning she drove us back to the airport so we could rent another car. The apartment is in a great spot, 9 minutes by car from the beach and 6 minutes from Split old town. The castle from game of trones is a few minutes away too, with a top city view. The rooms are modern, and there’s a very good restaurant nearby. When I’m old and sitting by my fireplace, Villa Stivan will be my number one travel memory.

The owners went way out of their way to make this our best holiday yet. There was food in the fridge when we arrived, they took us to the supermarket, and because we stayed more than 10 nights, they made us a fantastic Croatian meal on our last evening. I’ll most definitely bring my family back to this villa. Thanks again for all the kindness and hospitality.

The place was quiet, lovely, and very clean, and Ivana made everything so easy. I called her at 8pm and everything was ready just 20 minutes later. I’ll be back. Thanks for everything, Ivana, see you again!
