For a peaceful break close to nature, Draće and the Leo Apartments are hard to beat. The sea is right there, and the shallow water works well for both kids and grown-ups. You can spend the day reading, having coffee, catching up with people, or just enjoying the quiet away from the city. There’s internet too, and cafes for a bit of company. Some families have been coming for decades, now even their third generation, including visitors from Austria and Germany. A few have ended up buying or building houses here. Once you’ve stayed, you’ll want to return.

The apartments make a good base for seeing the whole peninsula, and there are plenty of lovely beaches nearby, so not being directly beside the sea didn’t bother us. Our place was spacious, clean, and well kept. The owner was very kind and happy to help, and offered homemade food, fruit, and vegetables. You can buy them too, and I’d recommend doing that.

We found it easy to explore the peninsula from here, with lots of lovely beaches nearby. It’s also a good spot for families with kids. The owners were attentive and very kind, and getting by in English, Polish, or Czech was no problem.
