Hotel Stella Maris

I didn’t stay overnight at the hotel, but I used the private sauna and Jacuzzi every day and thought the price was good. They had towels, bathrobes, slippers, drinks, and fruit ready each time. The hotel itself feels cozy and quiet, right by the beach and not too far from the center. My large room was clean and nice, and the customer service was great. I’d book again when I’m next in Vodice.

The hotel and rooms had nice decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful during my one-night off-season stay. Breakfast was OK. There was a leak from my shower onto the floor, which I reported, so hopefully it gets fixed soon. Reaching reception wasn’t easy, as sometimes nobody was there.

You can get lovely service without spending a lot. The ladies were so welcoming to us and our large dog, and were helpful with advice while still giving us space. After a long dog walk, I sat on the terrace and they brought me coffee with a plate of delicious watermelon. They treated my dog like their own, too. Those little touches made the difference.

When our tour to the krka waterfalls was cancelled, the staff helped us find an alternative at the last minute. They’re very friendly and happy to help. The hotel itself is simple and clean, and does the job for a couple of days.
