Apartments Meridiana 2

The pool was a real plus, with deckchairs and shade, and it was cleaned every day. The villa itself was very clean, and our apartment was in decent shape, though there were some filthy towels left in the bathroom. It also lacked a few basics, like kitchen tools and a microwave, and the inside of the fridge was broken. At night, the neighbors' roof AC unit made so much noise that we needed earplugs to sleep, and there was no way to switch it off. The price was fair enough, but I wouldn't pay much over 100€/night.

The location made it easy to explore the Peljesac peninsula and Korcula, with lovely excursions to choose from, and a beautiful beach with clear water nearby. We had a warm, homey stay, with breakfast in a nicely decorated dining room. The owner was always available when guests needed anything, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms and suites were clean and properly equipped, and the linens and towels were changed daily. The pool was spotless, with crystal-clear water and clean furniture, and was cleaned early each morning. The villa has a lovely pool and living room lounge, just as described. Thanks to Villa Meridiana for such a great vacation and for all the kindness and help. We'll definitely come back.❤️

The place looks nice and is pleasantly furnished, which may be why Villa Meridiana gets a three-star rating, but the service didn't live up to that appearance. I found it unprofessional and focused on making money, and we were very dissatisfied. There was no WiFi or air conditioning in the rooms, with AC available only for an extra charge. For three people staying three days, we were given just one roll of toilet paper. When we asked for more, we were charged 5 kuna per roll, around 0.70€, which felt completely inappropriate for a place of this category. Breakfast tasted good, but at 8€ per person it was too small and frugal, and clearly overpriced. Then, as we were leaving, a staff member stopped us to say a glass was missing from the kitchen. We hadn't even used the kitchen, and I felt totally humiliated. That was the last straw.

Mrs. Slavica made our stay feel so welcoming and special with her friendliness, understanding, and hard work. The staff were outstanding. We had clean, spacious rooms that were cleaned regularly, with fresh towels and linen, and the kitchen facilities were very good. There was a shaded balcony that was great for relaxing over breakfast, plus a comfortable lounge and reception area with an upright piano. Guests can also use a grill, which came in handy for our many parties. The pool area had plenty of loungers with cushions and umbrellas. The property sits on a quiet hill, with cicadas as the only constant sound, and being away from traffic made it feel safe for kids. The sea and town center are a short walk away, though bikes made getting around much easier. It's a great base for exploring the Peljesac peninsula. The setting is gorgeous too, with mountains on one side and azure sea views on the other. Highly recommended.
