The staff at reception and the shop were friendly, and they do a nice job giving the swallows a place to nest. The location and basics could be great, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this campsite as it is now. It doesn't look anything like the advertised photos. Our tent pitch was nice, and standing there gave us a great ocean view. One section looks maintained, but in the heat the dog urine smell is awful. People let their dogs pee and poop everywhere, even on camping spaces, so a bit of sunbathing can be interrupted by the smell right beside you. The other section looks like a trailer park in a ghetto. There are several nice beaches, but one is crammed with rental sunbeds, leaving little space for towels, and another is full of dogs. Thankfully, the remaining beach is really nice. The showers are covered in black mold, which isn't surprising after seeing how they clean: they hose everything down, then push the water around with a mop, including in the toilets. The whole place constantly smells of sewer while you're showering. There was a beach party Tuesday from 20.00 to 23.00, but the very loud music kept going until at least 23.20. Cars, motorcycles, and mopeds drove around until midnight, and lots of people were loud.

The campsite was already quite full in May. Facilities were good, with pleasant pitches overlooking the sea and a nice beach.

We left early because the manager refused to resolve the problem, tried to make it our responsibility, and treated us dismissively. He even said disdainfully that we should just leave. We requested a refund for the unused nights after paying cash, as the receipt confirmed. The manager printed a form asking us to sign that we'd get the money by bank transfer within 14 days. When we asked why it couldn't be refunded in cash, they said there was no money in the till. Asked how they made change for other customers, he said, “We don’t have money, period.” We mentioned EU consumer law requiring a refund through the same payment method. The receptionist said she'd never heard of it, then after several minutes of arguing took cash from the till and threw it on the counter, shouting that it was coming “from her own pocket.” The staff seem unqualified and either don't know or ignore the campsite rules and EU consumer protections. The manager is rude, confrontational, and unwilling to handle even simple problems. Our issue wasn't that a baby cried. I have nothing against children and understand babies cry; it's natural. The parents acted irresponsibly by choosing a tent in a shared space where sound carries. For such a small child, they should have booked a mobile home, trailer, or camper instead of leaving other guests sleepless. The campsite was also at fault for accepting the tent-zone booking, and the manager wouldn't act. We booked the tent area, where quiet hours are midnight to 7:00 AM. The first three nights were peaceful, basically the only good thing about the place. The next night, a family with a baby around one year old camped beside us. The child cried for hours after midnight and again from 3:00 to 5:00 AM, so we couldn't sleep or rest. I reported it to reception in the morning. The staff member replied, “A baby is a baby, babies cry.” The campsite manager, Franko C., then suggested that we move, instead of the family breaking quiet hours. When I asked him to speak to the family, he said he “wouldn’t kick them out of the campsite.” Point 23 of the campsite rules says guests who disturb the peace may be removed, so that response showed either complete ignorance or a deliberate breach of the rule. I've never come across this kind of ignorance, arrogance, and lack of professionalism at another campsite, in Croatia or anywhere else. This place has no standards for matching guests with suitable accommodation. Our early departure was necessary, caused entirely by the staff and the manager's inaction. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had a great week camping here. Our tent was on a nice shady pitch, and the staff were really friendly. Everything was clean and tidy, and there's a well-stocked shop plus a fruit and veg stand. The beach is lovely, with other beautiful beaches within walking distance too. Great location.
