Peric Apartments

The hosts made us feel at home all week. They were kind and helpful throughout, and had been in touch before we set off. We found the apartment clean, pleasant, and stocked with everything we could think of, from kitchen gear to towels and toiletries. The balcony looks out over the city and hills, and we liked being close to both the hilltop and the city centre. We had an amazing stay and would gladly come back.

The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and the location was great. Our clean, well-prepared room had all the kitchen tools we needed. The host was very helpful, and Mr Peric welcomed us like friends with a drink, which felt more personal than the usual welcome. We recommend it.

We were only a five-minute walk from the supermarket and city center. The owners also suggested plenty of quiet beaches to reach by car, without crowds. There’s a barbecue spot at the apartment, and the owner pointed us to a place to buy good fish. We ended up cooking there several times instead of going to busy places. The facilities were absolutely awesome in Stari Grad.

I’ve never written a bad review before, but this stay was not worth even one star. The place was expensive and offered nothing; the host literally counted every toilet paper roll. I found the host hideous, rude, self-centered, and aggressive toward children and their mothers, and felt they were a deranged troublemaker. If you’re planning a family holiday in this magical place in Stari Grad, island Hvar, I strongly advise avoiding apartmani Peric. I hope this review is taken into consideration.
